Many little boys are fascinated with large vehicles, including trucks, backhoes and bulldozers. Quincy Kroner, a 2-year-old boy from Cincinnati, is in love with the garbage truck! According to his father, Ollie Kroner, he has been fascinated by the garbage truck since around the time he learned how to walk.
The fact that he loved the garbage truck did not escape the notice of the neighborhood garbage men, Mark Davis and Eddie Washington. In fact, it provided the opportunity for young Quincy to meet the garbage men up close and in person!
His father said: “He was all smiles as the garbage truck pulled up. I asked him if he wanted to take his [picture] with them, and he gave an eager yes. But I think his nerves set in when the loud truck was right there in front of us.”
Quincy had been waiting for a long time for this day to come. He had been telling his family that the garbage man was waving to him when he watched the truck out the window. The family thought that it was all in his imagination but then they looked out the window and they saw the garbage man waving!
This young lad is a big fan of vehicles, especially trucks. In fact, he was given the toy garbage truck you see in the picture after successfully completing potty training. After a week of waiting, he was eager to show off his new toy to the garbage man. In fact, he was so eager that he couldn’t hold back the tears!
His father says that he has calmed down since the situation and after a few minutes, continued playing with the truck. He hasn’t said much about it as of yet.
