Pitbull Spends Five Years In The Shelter And Finally Gets His Forever Home Thanks To Facebook

Many dogs that enter into an animal shelter are not going to find their forever home. The unfortunate reality for those dogs is that eventually, they may be put to sleep because the shelter feels as if they don’t have the room for them. In addition, there may be a time limit placed but as you are about to see, each story is different.

Chester, the pitbull, was in a shelter for almost 5 years and he finally found his forever home. It was thanks to the Internet and a impassioned plea that was put on Facebook. In fact, the shelter workers were surprised that Chester was not adopted because he had a sweet disposition. His real break came when a worker posted a picture of Chester with a poster that said he had been there for five years and asking why no one would want to return the love he could give.
