Sometimes we hear stories about children that are just so funny we can’t help but pass them along. That is not only true of our children, it is true of other children that we may see on Facebook as well. When you see this young lad and the story that his mother posted about him, you will have a hard time not laughing out loud.
When you look at the two children in this photograph, you are going to see the obvious difference between the two of them. The beautiful thing about five-year-old Jax is that he did not see that same difference. In fact, he was ready to get a haircut that was the same as his friend, Reddy, because he wanted to fool his teacher.

She wrote:
“This morning Jax and I were discussing his wild hair. I told him that he needed a haircut this weekend. He said that he wanted his head shaved really short so he could look like his friend Reddy. He said he couldn’t wait to go to school on Monday with his hair like Reddy’s so that his teacher wouldn’t be able to tell them apart. He thought it would be so hilarious to confuse his teacher with the same haircut.”
According to his mother, Jax did not differentiate between the two because he is white and his friend is black. If you are an adult, you probably should avoid saying that you don’t see colour. This child obviously is a shining example for all of us.
“If this isn’t proof that hate and prejudice is something that is taught I don’t know what is,” Rosebush wrote. “The only difference Jax sees in the two of them is their hair.”
Jax got his haircut and his mother posted it online. Here is what they look like now.
This is the most adorable thing and I hope that they are able to stay friends forever. One thing is certain, if they do stay friends, they will have an awesome story to tell their children.
