When we must have a conversation with a social media brand about one of their apps, the results are not always amusing. In fact, some can be downright frustrating but that wasn’t the case with one man’s recent interaction with Skyscanner. In fact, it escalated in the funniest way ever.
The thread began last week when James Lloyd was given a flight suggestion from Skyscanner, a UK-based travel app that helps people find cheap flights. After posting his comment, it escalated quickly.
Admittedly, there may be a lot of things to do in Bangkok but when you’re going to be there for 413,786 hours (47.2 years), you may have some extra time to kill.
Fortunately, Skyscanner had a few suggestions.
Before long, Jen from Skyscanner was an Internet hero
And when she started commenting on comments, she became even more famous.
Jen soon had a fan club going
The responses kept coming over the next few days
In the end, James got something from the postal carrier.
