This One-Eyed Rescue Pug Is Now Working As a Chicago Hotel Concierge

The Park Hyatt hotel on the magnificent mile in Chicago has a new employee. It is not a young person who works at the desk or takes your baggage to the room, it is a one-eyed pug named Parker.

This dog was rescued from PAWS Chicago by the general manager, Walter Brindell. He is a member of the development board for that rescue group and had the following to say about this wonderful dog:

“For the staff, the associates, without question, it has just put a smile on their faces and it brings in an element to hotel environment that was not there before.”

Sarah McDonald, a spokesman for PAWS said that she was rescued from Tennessee and was in bad shape. She still requires medication on a daily basis but the workers at the hotel are happy to chip in. In fact, they love taking care of this dog and in return, the dog helps to improve the guest experience at the Park Hyatt.

Parker has shown up on Instagram multiple times, not only from the hotel staff but from visitors as well.

She's so adorable! I'm hoping Parker could meet Gnocchi one day on a play date #barkhyattchicago
