You don’t need to study animals very long to realise they are capable of some rather amazing things. Not only do they tend to make friends with humans, it is possible for them to make friends with each other as well. When you see this particular case of animal friendship, however, you will recognise that it is something that you had never seen before.
It involves a Rhesus macaque monkey from India. He may look like any other monkey that could be seen at the zoo or in the wild, but he is rather unusual when you look under the surface. After all, this monkey adopted a puppy! When the people in the city saw that he had adopted the puppy and was defending him from stray dogs, they were amazed.
They gave the monkey and puppy food and they were surprised yet again when the monkey let the puppy eat first.
