The wedding day is one that often carries a number of stresses along with it. This is not only true for the bride, it is true for the bridesmaids as well. They need to support the bride and look pretty for the pictures.
During the photo shoot, and they need to look their best. Faye West, a bridesmaid at the wedding in these pictures, saw need to interrupt the photo session because a gosling was drowning in a nearby pond.
“Just as we were about to start shooting, we heard this AWFUL squawking coming from some geese a few feet away. And saw a big black swan lunge at one of their two goslings and start trying to drown it.”
West went right out into the pond to snatch the gosling from his attacker and return him safely to his parents. Fortunately, the entire episode was caught in the wedding pictures!
Photographer Rosie Hardy was taking pictures of the wedding of Hannah West and Mark Jeffries. It was a beautiful day at Dumbleton Hall in Stroud, England
The bride was absolutely beautiful in her white dress alongside her bridesmaids, who wore violet.
While the wedding party was posing for pictures near a lake, they suddenly heard a baby gosling who had been snatched from from his parents by a black swan.
The swan was trying to drown the gosling and the wedding scene was swamped by the horrible noises.
The bride’s sister, Faye West, kicked off her heels and went out into the pond to scare the swan.
Once the gosling was returned to his family, West came from the pond and was cheered by the jubilant wedding party.
After this amazing episode, the wedding proceedings proceeded. Faye feels that it was the best thing that could have happened and something that they will laugh at for many years.
