If you haven’t seen emperor penguins grieving over their dead chick, below is a very emotional video that will surely break your heart.
The video, which is part of BBC series Penguins Spy in the Hudde (Waddle all the Way) by John Downer Production, shows two emotional penguins express their sorrow while mourning over a frozen chick.
At one point, one penguin uses its beak in an attempt to lift the lifeless chick. The other female penguin apparently tries to comfort her.
Heartbreaking… but proves that birds have feelings, too.
