Waitress Gets Stiffed By Jealous Newlywed For Flirting With Her Husband And Facebook

It can be difficult to be a waitress and that is something that most waitresses learn very early in their career. For one waitress, Jessica Morris, she had a rather unusual weekend and it ended up taking Facebook by storm.

A couple came in and sat at one of her tables and told her they were celebrating their honeymoon. Jessica had also recently got married and her husband was waiting tables at the same restaurant.

During the course of the evening, Jessica joked around with the newlyweds and it seemed as if everyone had a great time. That is when she got the check, and she realised that she had been totally stiffed.

Jenny, the newlywed who was at the table, not only left no tip, she also left a note explaining why. You can see it through the images below.

Jessica was a server in a restaurant and describes herself as being both sarcastic and personable but in a totally nice way.

Newlyweds had sat down in Jessica’s section. She calls the wife Jenny. Jessica thought that they had a nice dining experience, because they were having a good time and laughing. She even made Jenny’s husband laugh a few times.

After they finished their meal and left, Jessica had a look at the check and was surprised that they left no tip. She even left a note saying “He’s my husband, find your own. Good luck. J.”

Jessica was offended and shocked at the situation. She remembered that she had been told that they were celebrating their honeymoon and she even let them know that she had gotten married last month.

On top of it all, Jessica’s new husband, Travis, was also serving tables at the same restaurant and working in the same section the whole time.

Jessica shared the story on Facebook along with a photo of the receipt and an open letter to Jenny.

So, Dear Jenny,

I would like you to know, the server that was in the section across from mine, that I kept talking to and checking on throughout the time of you sitting at my table IS MY HUSBAND. Which I found on my own, and looks better than yours. Also, I would like you to know that I’m sorry MY HUSBAND treated me to a cruise for my honeymoon and not a restaurant. As well as, MY HUSBAND would never let me feel so insecure that I would feel the need to write such a terrible note to a server and make them feel the way you have.

So Jenny, here’s a life tip for you from me, your insecurity as a woman is heartbreaking. Have pride in yourself and your relationship with YOUR husband to where you don’t need to put another down to bring yourself up. Especially a server who lives off her tips and needs them to help her husband pay bills. Also, Jenny, I hope you like the pen, because it’s my present to you. One NEWLYWED to another.

P.S – my husband said you can sit in his section next time that way you won’t have to be so worried about your husband “flirting” with a server :). Maybe you’ll see his ring a little better than you saw mine.

Signed, Jessica
