Below is an old but heartwarming video of Australian professional diver Valerie Taylor while making friends with an eel.
Valerie, who is also a videographer and shark expert just like her husband Ron, has been friends with Honey, a moray eel from Banda Island, Indonesia since 1974.
On the video, you can see Honey coming out from the hole and playing with her. Obviously, Valerie and the eel had amazing bonding moments.
“There’s no doubt in my mind that… that eel really likes me,” Valerie can be heard saying in the clip.
She’s absolutely right.
