Jim Gip has been taking trips with his wife for 23 years but recently, he had to go on his first vacation without her by his side. Nobody was sure how he would manage without her but while he was packing for his trip, his wife and her girlfriend decided to give him a thoughtful gift before he left.
She typed out a lost and found tag, well-suited for a husband who is somewhat forgetful and misguided. It was printed on white paper, laminated and could hang around his neck with a homemade lanyard. She texted a photo of the tag to her son, who thought it was hilarious and decided to share it on his twitter page.
Jim Gip recently went on a vacation. It was the first time he went away without his wife in 23 years.
Nobody knew how he would manage because he had always relied on her to take care of him while they were away.
Jim went to Las Vegas on a guys trip so his wife and her friend came up with a funny idea. They made him a gift he could wear around his neck.
In order to keep Jim from getting lost, she typed this “lost and found” lanyard. It included his phone number and instructions in case he should get lost.
His wife sent a photo of the tag to their adult son, who thought it was quite funny.
The message reads:
“My name is Jim, if I look lost, please call my wife Kim Gip on *****.
If I am in a restaurant just staring at the menu, please order me some sort of Asian food, especially white rice.
I’ve never been away from my wife, who does everything for me.”
Jim thought it was so funny he packed the tag along with the rest of his belongings.
