Jonathan Antoine and Charlotte Jaconelli surprised everyone with their opera-pop voice tandem during the Britain’s Got Talent Season 6 audition in 2012.
Auditioned as Charlotte & Jonathan, the teen duo does not look impressive before they performed, especially for Jonathan who was a plus size for his age.
But when they started to sing “The Prayer,” Jonathan’s amazing opera voice shocked everybody including the judges. Simon Cowell later advised Jonathan to dump Charlotte, but the 17-year old singer refused.
Jonathan and Charlotte landed 2nd runner-up on the BGT Finals. The rest was history.
