Couple Will and Monifa Sims stole the hearts of millions when they sang via karaoke for Pumpcast News, a fictitious segment on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” in 2013.
At first, actor Tim Stack poses as a fictional news anchor. Will Sims was then filling up at the gas station, where a live TV is showing the segment.
Will was surprised when Tim asked him to sing in exchange of free gas. He did not hesitate and sang Bon Jovi’s “Living on a Prayer.” Later, Monifa Sims sang Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams.”
