An orangutan communicates with a deaf girl using sign language. Later, the animal asks for help from her.
On the video below created by Rainforest Action Network, the deaf girl named Lena plays hide-and-seek with the orangutan named Strawberry.
But when the girl said that she is eating peanut butter, the animal became sad. The orangutan said that harvesting palm oil involves cutting down trees, thus destroying their natural habitat.
Common sense tells us that the video is staged. Nevertheless, the ad campaign is sending a very strong message.
