There are plenty of famous people that we may recognise on-site but not everybody is going to recognise everyone. One of the individuals who seems to have a universal appeal, however, is Tom Hanks. He has played in so many different television shows, films and even animated films over the years, it seems like everybody knows his name, face and voice.
Some people go out of their way to contact Mr. Hanks and that was the case with this fan. Not only did she send him a letter, she also sent him a selfie and she was surprised when he sent back his own letter, complete with a selfie as well. The pictures were posted of the Polaroid selfie along with the typewritten letter that Tom Hanks sent her in the mail.
There is no denying that this letter was specifically for her, because he is even holding her picture when the selfie was taken.
In the letter, he asked her if she was ready for Christmas and he talks about how he often hums Christmas music without even thinking about it.
He concluded with: “This Polaroid has been developing as I’ve been typing. The things is scary.”
