A sea turtle was trapped in a rope while swimming the coast of Mexico. Luckily, a diver was able to rescue the reptile. And yes, the turtle thanked his hero.
On the video below uploaded by GoPro, dive partners Cameron Dietrich and Colin Sutton saw the troubled turtle while spear fishing for tuna.
Dietrich immediately dives off the water, while Sutton grabbed his camera to film everything. In less than a minute, the diver was able to free the tangled turtle.
The lucky turtle swam away, but returned and gestured, “Thank you.”
