Meet Sweety and Tricia, the two blind cows that have been best of friends since they met.
In February 2014, Sweety was brought from Canada to Farm Sanctuary in Watkins Glen, New York, to meet Tricia for the first time.
Sweety, an 8-year old cow suffering from hoof infection, was rescued from the slaughterhouse in Ontario. On the other hand, Tricia is a 12-year-old Holstein and was born blind.
When the two blind cows met, they nuzzled one another, nose to nose. And yes, they will stay together for the rest of their lives.
