Not everything is as it appears. Recently, a viral photograph was circulating online that appeared to show a German Shepherd digging a hole at a tombstone. It was said that the German Shepherd was digging the hole to be closer to its master who had recently passed away.
Although that story was not true, it doesn’t mean that there wasn’t something spectacular that was going on behind the scenes. As you will see in this series, the German Shepherd had a very good reason for digging a hole and it will touch your heart.
This is the viral picture that recently circulated online
As it turns out, the dog was not digging a hole to be closer to its former owner, it was digging a hole because it was about to have a litter of puppies.
Fortunately, the dogs were not left to fend for themselves and they were brought home in order to rest and recuperate.
The mother dog took great care of the puppies and they were all healthy.
Taking care of the puppies is serious work.
Although the mother dog was never far away from the puppies, it didn’t mind a helping hand.
All of these dogs are very fortunate because they get the opportunity to live a happy and full life.

As we said, things are not always as they seem. A story that started in the graveyard and dire consequences ended in happiness with all dogs cared for properly.
