There is an old saying… “When in Rome, do as the Romans.” That saying was meant for those who are in an unusual situation, letting them know that they should just go with the flow and things will work out better. Although such a saying may hold true in many cases, we think that Goliath is taking it a bit too far!
You see, Goliath is a drop calf from a dairy farm and after he was taken away from his mother, he was raised with the three family dogs on the property. The property is the Shaylee Hubs’ family ranch in Danville, California.

Once Goliath began to run with the dogs, he quickly became a close companion with the family Great Dane. Hubbs told ABC news…
“He would lick the little cow on the face and try to nudge him to stand up, He would lay down with the sick, little cow for hours just to keep him company.”
Goliath has also become an Internet sensation, because his antics have been documented on twitter.
In true dog fashion, Goliath has learned how to eat his food like a dog and drink water from the dog bowl. As you can tell from the picture above, he is also quite comfortable on the family couch!
This is no normal cow that is here today gone tomorrow. Goliath is considered a beloved pet and family member who is here to stay!
