It always helps to have a unique vantage point and at least one cat has figured out that secret to life. It happened on the Snowfall Ranch in Elizabeth, CO. Due to a mouse problem on the ranch, Teton the cat was brought in.
Teton seem like an ordinary tabby cat but he took on his responsibilities of surveying the property very seriously. As a matter of fact, it wasn’t only mice that he kept in line, he also played with many of the other animals on the farm, regardless of their size. It was not unusual to see him playing with horses, donkeys and goats.
One day, Joanna and Scott Shaw, the owners of the ranch, noticed that Teton was doing something unusual. He would jump up on the back of the other animals on the ranch and hitch a ride. Surprisingly, they didn’t seem to mind.
Take a look at the pictures of Teton surveying the property.
Teton was brought to Snowfall Ranch to help with a mouse problem. He took his job seriously.
When Teton was a kitten, he would play with the other animals on the farm. Although the horses and goats were quite a bit larger than this little cat, he had a rather unique solution.
When he wanted a better view, he would jump up on the back of his companion and go for a ride. That is when Joanna and Scott Shaw, owners of the ranch, began taking pictures.
Who was his favorite animal for transportation? More often than not, he is seen on miniature horses and donkeys.
There is only one fear that this brave kitty has, getting his paws wet. Fortunately, he has a dry place to ride.
Teton is certainly the king of all he surveys. As long as he has a willing partner, he will continue to rule the ranch.
