If there is one thing I know about cats, is the fact that they are all adorable. Perhaps that is the reason why people just can’t seem to resist looking at cute cat pictures or cat videos online. Although there are many different breeds of domestic cats, the largest has got to be the Maine Coon cat. Not only are they muscular and big boned, they can grow to be up to 40 inches long and the males weigh up to 18 pounds!
Not only are Maine Coon cats large animals, they are also quite gorgeous and can come in up to 75 different color combinations. They are able to live through the cold winters in New England because of their multilayered fur and huge paws. It makes it easy for them to walk through the snow. They don’t quite meow, they make a strange chirping or trilling noise that is somewhere between a purr and a meow.
If you’re considering getting one of these majestic animals, remember that there is one complaint that many owners have. These cats eat and they eat a lot of food! In addition, their hair can be quite difficult to deal with.
Regardless of whether you want to own one or not, you will absolutely love these pictures that show them in all their glory.
