It Had Been 6 Days Since The Earthquake But Then Rescuers Pulled A Cat Out Of The Rubble

An earthquake is a devastating natural disaster that can cost people their belongings, their health and even their lives. The recent earthquake in Italy has shown that to be true on a large scale. Even through it all, however, the hope that is held out by rescuers is something that shines in the middle of the darkness.

Tragedy was something that Daniela Tursini saw when the earthquake struck her village of Armatrice, Italy. She was inside her home when the earthquake started and was barely able to make it out safely. Unfortunately, she had to leave her cat, Gioia behind.

As the days begin to pass, most people would lose hope on ever finding the cat again but she continued to hold out until a definitive answer was given. That is when a miracle happened.

Almost 6 days after the earthquake struck, rescue workers discovered her cat in the rubble and she was still alive! She may have lost her home and possessions but her cat will be by her side as she rebuilds.
