When we live in a community, we often have fences that separate one yard from another. Some are easy to see through but others are meant for privacy. It is only humans who desire that privacy, however, and most dogs will do anything they possibly can to see through the fence. That is especially true when there is another dog, just on the other side.
When this man saw his three dogs constantly staring through the slats in his fence, he knew that he had to do something about it. They had become friends with the dog next door and they would even play a game of chase up and down the boundary line. That is when he got the idea to allow them to visit in a more personal manner. He created a window in the fence specifically for the dogs.
“The dogs really do enjoy it. They go out each morning and visit with each other if they are all out together. They still chase each other along the fence line, but I think they are happier actually seeing who they are chasing. They give each other some puppy love and sometimes just stare or bark at each other a bit.”
As amazing as this is, he is not the only pet owner who has done something awesome for his dog. Here are a few more examples.
“My dog looking through a hole I cut in our fence that my neighbours son drew on”

“We had to cut a hole in our fence so our dog could see out.”
“I got to meet the neighbour dogs on my afternoon walk.”
Just moved in to the new house. I got to meet the neighbour dogs on my afternoon walk.

Sometimes it can backfire
There's a hole in our fence and this keeps sneaking through it.
