There is something about PR stunts that just seems to make me smile, especially when they are done well. If they involve animals, they are good for a laugh. This PR stunt has both.
It was put on by Kronenburg 1664 beer, and they decided to open a bar. The catch is, it is manned entirely about dogs and they are giving away drinks for free! Unfortunately, they were only open on the night of May 6, but if you were there, you got quite a treat.

The event was almost an instant sell out. I mean, who wouldn’t be interested in a bar manned by dogs. As it turns out, all of the dogs were Alsatians, and they were specially trained.
One of the problems that Kronenburg ran into was that the dogs didn’t have any hands, which would have been handy for tending bar.
Each of the dogs was outfitted with a barrel shaped bottle holder, so they could deliver drinks just fine.
The bar didn’t offer a wide selection. In fact, there was only one drink choice, Kronenburg 1664. That is because it was a PR stunt put on by that company
I think it should work out well for them but don’t look for many bars being manned by dogs again
