This Wild Red Fox Was Just Too Tame So She Moves Into Her Forever Home

The world is absolutely full of beautiful creatures, and each of them deserves the ability to sleep comfortably and safely. The unfortunate reality is, however, wild animals also find themselves in harm’s way and they may even need some human help to get by.

That is what happened when a tiny fox in Yorkshire found herself in a rather difficult situation. She needed a helping hand, and the kind folks at the National Fox Well for Society were all too happy to help. They care for wild foxes and then return them to the wild when they are able to be on their own.

As it turns out, this little pup, named Pudding, had a different idea.

1

It only takes one look at this adorable fox to know that she is absolutely a charmer. She has lovely fur, hazel eyes and it is impossible for her to take a bad picture.

2

She was rehabilitated by The National Fox Welfare Society and they wanted to release her back into the wild, but she had other plans.

When they were about to introduce her to her litter, a tree fell on the enclosure and some human interaction became necessary.

3

The other foxes were fine but by the time the tree was moved away, Pudding had bonded with the humans. They were in feeding her by that time since a proper enclosure did not exist.

4

They still tried to integrate her with other litters of fox cubs but it didn’t work. By this time, she felt that she belonged to people and she didn’t seem to fit in with the other foxes.

5

Instead of trying to make Pudding into something she wasn’t, they would provide her with a job. She became their official wildlife Ambassador and she remains a full life resident.

It’s amazing that she is such a photogenic fox, because it makes it possible for her to appear on all of their merchandise.

6

This sweet fox is known for her greetings, just like a dog would greet you. She is playful and affectionate and, although she is domesticated, she loves being around humans.

7

Another fox was eventually able to become her companion. That fox was kept as a household pet and given to the organization.

Unfortunately, foxes do not live long so Pudding passed away. Prior to doing so, she was able to enjoy a happy life with people she really loved.
