When a man becomes a father, he takes on a rather interesting role. After all, he is no longer just a husband who takes care of his wife, he is now also responsible for taking care of the young life that they have brought into the world. It is a responsibility that many men take on with great pride, but there are also likely to be some problems that go along with it as well.
As a father, you will need to give some loving guidance to your children as they are growing. Some of that guidance is going to land on fertile soil but, at other times, it will simply bounce back to you. That is when a dad needs to do what a dad does best. He needs to have a little bit of fun with it and, if possible, perhaps even laugh a little.
Having a child is more than a temporary responsibility. When you become a father, you are embarking on a life-long project and one that will depend on you more often than you realise. Embrace it and all of you will benefit.
