We live in a world full of people who sometimes like to complain. In fact, some people thrive on it. Admittedly, there are times when a complaint is justified but if you have ever worked in customer service, you realize they can also happen at random as well.
Customer complaints can also take on many different forms. At one time, they were all done in the store or, at the most, over the telephone. Now that the internet is fueling the digital world, they also happen on social media and they are there for the world to see.
The Facebook customer complaints at Tesco is a perfect example. One customer complained about a dead worm in his cucumber, which is a legitimate complaint. Before long it really got out of hand and ended up with Tesco writing a tribute song for the worm and even holding a funeral.
Fortunately, Tesco was sympathetic
Soon, things escalated to the next level
Tesco even went further when they adapted an Oasis song as a funeral song
A Facebook user wrote his own song
When the music stopped, it was time to reflect
RIP, William
