There is no doubt that it feels good to be told that we are appreciated from time to time. Many of us thrive on hearing the words, and it can perk us up and put us in the best mood imaginable. Of course, this is not a phenomenon that is limited to humans and even animals are able to experience that boost in morale.
A Reddit user recently posted a picture of his dog before and after being told that he was a good boy. Not only did people appreciate what he did, they took it and ran with it. People everywhere began taking similar pictures with their own pets and it is more than just a fun exercise, it really helps us to see that animals have a wonderful personality.
Of course, not every pet was jumping out of their skin when they were told that they were good. Dogs tended to enjoy it across the table but wait to you see the cats.
