One of the sad moments that we may experience in life is the death of a pet. It is something that can make us very emotional and typically, it is a time when the family rallies around and looks out for each other. It certainly can be a sad time, but when you have family, it really can make a difference.
The man in this video sent a group text to his family about the death of their cat. Their seven-year-old calico had been missing since the previous night and the mother found the cat in the road. The father took it home and buried it in the backyard and then proceeded to send the message to the family. It was sad news for sure but suddenly, it took an unexpected turn.
When Kitty the cat, a seven-year-old pastel calico was missing overnight, the father texted the family some bad news.
Our pets are certainly part of the family so everyone was upset over it.
Of course, nobody was expecting what happened next.
The father is rather relaxed over the whole situation and now he simply states that everything is better now.
“I came home about 30-45 minutes after the burial, so I was still pretty emotional and trying to start dinner,” said Eric’s mum Cheryl Schmidt, “and my husband goes, ‘I don’t know how to tell you this, but we buried the wrong cat.'”
“She walks in and I’m crying and scoop her up in my arms,” she continued. “Then we fed her and she promptly puked on the wood floor.”
But that’s not the only thing
The following twist is when things escalated even further
Just to sum things up, they dug up the other cat to see if it had a chip. Yes, it was a nice gesture but that is when they discovered it wasn’t actually a cat, it was a rabbit.
She did ask that nobody say anything, but now everybody knows thanks to the Internet.
You guys would not believe the roller coaster of emotions I've been through pic.twitter.com/aqdeI3a4ox
