Joel Armstrong, a banker from Spokane, Washington, noticed that a mother duck had built a nest on a ledge where he works.
When her baby ducks hatched, the mother duck wanted to get them to water, but didn’t seem to realize that her babies couldn’t jump down from the ledge.
When Armstrong noticed them nervously pacing and chirping, he decided to run outside and lend a helping hand.
