Beautiful Story Of How Kids Make Friendships, We Adults Could Learn A Lot From Our Children

Whether we like it or not, racism is still a part of modern day society. Things may have improved drastically since the bad old days, but stereotypes and people being treated differently due to their race or religion is still very much prevalent in today’s society, whatever the media might have you believe.

And yet, I firmly believe that racism is a learned behaviour. We are not born racist, and we only need to look at our kid’s reactions to each other to prove that. Kids don’t see colour, they just see who they want to be friends with and do it. There is no thinking about it, and the world would be a better place if that applied to us adults as well.

A mother and her daughter were walking along Myrtle Beach one evening when a little boy approached her daughter and asked to play. The two kids hit things off immediately and had a wonderful time playing together. The friendliness and wonderful manners of the little boy really impressed the girl’s mother, and at the end when it came time for them to part ways, the little girl asked permission from the boys mum to take the photo below.

As you can see both kids cuddle up nice and close and share a very touching and poignant moment, This is how our world should be and if only we could learn from the kids then the world could be a much better place.
