D-Day veteran Jim “Pee Wee” Martin repeated his historical parachute jump on the same area in Normandy, France. The big difference? It’s 70 years later.
His first jump was on June 6, 1944, which was dubbed as D-Day. That time, Jim Martin was a member of the U.S. 101st Airborne Division. He was 23 then, and is among the oldest in their batch. And yet, he is now the only one who can still make the jump, at the age of 93.
Isn’t that worth your salute?
