Bars & Melody, aka B.A.M., totally impressed everyone during their audition at Britain’s Got Talent 2014. In fact, their performance is dubbed as Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer act.
Bars and Melody consists of rapper Leondre Devries (Bars) and singer Charlie Lenehan (Melody). Devries, 13, and Lenehan, 15, met on Facebook in September 2013 and decided to form B.A.M.
The teen music duo sang “Hope” by Twista and Faith Evans, but Leondre replaced the lyrics to protest bullying. The crowd chanted “Push the gold” and Simon Cowell pushed the golden buzzer.
