Bald Teen Sits For Photoshoot To Spread Important Message About Beauty And It Goes VIRAL

Andrea Sierra Salazar is a lovely 17-year-old girl and she grew up modeling. Her world took a sudden change when she felt a bump on her neck and after having it checked, her doctors discovered additional lumps. She was diagnosed with nodular Hodgkin lymphoma.

Because of her cancer, Andrea had to take a break from school but she didn’t let sickness stop her from modeling. In fact, she saw it as an opportunity to continue her modeling without distraction. Because of her treatments, Andrea lost her hair and it took a toll on her self-esteem.

She continued with her modeling, trying different wigs but then one photographer suggested that she do a photo shoot with the wig off. He said that she was open and not ashamed or embarrassed to share that part of herself. It was inspirational to see how she was coping with cancer and the photographer was happy to capture the stage of her life so she has something beautiful to look back on.

Andrea tweeted the following photographs with the caption “Cancer doesn’t stop me from being a princess.” It has gone viral

Andrea wants other cancer patients to know they are beautiful, regardless of whether they have hair or not.

“Along with other things, this journey has taught me to love and accept myself regardless of the way I look. I’ve learned that the hair on someone’s head doesn’t define who they are as a person, but their actions and the way they treat others.”

Andrea says that all girls are princesses and she feels beautiful inside and out.
