The news that we typically hear is bad, but that doesn’t mean there is nothing good that goes on in the world. When you hear good news, it has a positive effect on your mood and it can certainly lift your spirits and turn a bad day into a good day. That is what this story is going to do, as it is good news from the start till the end.

Something that tends to make us feel good about life is a random act of kindness. It doesn’t matter if it happens to us or if we are hearing news about it happening to someone else, it is certain to put a smile on our face. When a father was out with his three-month-old for a bite to eat at a restaurant, he was concerned because a couple was staring at him and his son. They kept staring and smiling, but he was unaware why until he got out to the car.

When he got out to the car he realized why they were watching him. There was a note tucked under the windshield wiper.

It read:

“Today your meal is on my wife and me. Enjoy that baby boy as long as God intends. Keep doing what you’re doing. The Masons.”

There was some cash for the meal tucked in with a note. It really made his day, especially since he grew up without a father.

“There’s a lot of guys I know that aren’t taking care of their kids,” Kevon said. “To show that not all of us are out here being gang bangers, some of us are out here being fathers.”
