Although we have had a number of television personalities throughout the years, Steve Irwin is one that many of us will never forget. He touched the world in a very special way through his personality and his efforts with wildlife conservation.
Unfortunately, Irwin passed away far too soon due to a tragic accident with the stingray. As he was exploring the ocean, the stingray stabbed him in the heart and killed him. Who would have thought that one of the animals he held so dear could be the one that took his life?
Steve passed away on September 4, 2006 and the world has paid their respects. As it turns out, he wasn’t finished. His parents have uncovered a long-lost letter that he wrote for them in 1994, 10 years before passing away.
In the letter, Steve talks about how he loves and respects his parents and you can feel the emotion that he was trying to convey to them. It’s difficult to imagine what his parents must’ve felt like when they discovered this letter and read it.
We often wish we had the opportunity to hear from our loved ones again after they pass away. The Irwin family had that unique opportunity, and you have it as well when you see the letter he wrote.
