The wilderness in Siberia can be quite forgiving, but there are times when miracles happen as well. One of those miracles occurred in July 2014, when a four-year-old girl named Karina Chikitova got lost in the woods in Siberia. Thankfully, for her, she wasn’t alone.
This little girl had her faithful dog, Kyrachaan along with her and he stayed by her side. During the time that they were in the woods together, he kept her warm by cuddling up close to her and he fended off bears and wolves.
The young girl’s grandmother thought that she was with her father in a remote village as he was looking for work. Eventually, she had discovered that the girl was not with him and then she called the police. 100 people came together to search for the girl by land and air.
By the time the dog returned to the village, over a week had passed. When the rescuers saw him, they assumed that she had not survived but then they realized he was trying to bring them to her.
Karina wandered into the Siberian forest and got lost. Fortunately, her dog Kyrachaan stayed by her side to keep her warm and safe. Over 100 people looked for her by land and sea.
