The Verizon “Inspire Her Mind” commercial below is definitely a great eye opener to all parents with young girls.
The ad shows a little girl who grows up to be a teenager being interested in Math and Science. Unfortunately, her parents discourage her.
On the last part, Verizon Wireless shows a statistic by the National Science Foundation, saying that 66% of 4th grade girls say they like science and math, but only 18% of all college engineering majors are female.
The Verizon ad encourages parents to get their young girls to get involved with STEM.
