You may never have heard of Chris Porsz before, but after looking at his work below, his is a name that you won’t quickly forget. Starting in the 1970s, he began walking around the city of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire to take some of the most interesting photographs. He found people on the street and took their picture of what they were like in real life.
Those images are certainly worth mentioning, but it is what he did next that really makes a difference. Although as much as 40 years have passed, he was able to track down those people and redo the same photographs. You will be amazed with what a difference those four decades are able to make. All in all, there were 135 perfect reunions and we are showing the best 11 below.
In many cases, these images were re-created in the same location. It doesn’t matter if it was punk rockers or policemen, the differences are going to take you by surprise. In fact, they are certain to give you chills as well when you really consider what is behind them.
