It can be difficult to raise a teenager. As their hormones begin to get the better of them, tempers flare and there are going to be confrontations. Even teens that are on their best behavior will sometimes have difficulties. As the teenager starts to rebel, there will come a time when mum and dad have to put their foot down.
They need to walk a difficult line, giving the proper discipline and doing so to teach a lesson, not to simply get even.
Every parent is entitled to make their own decision, provided nobody is hurt. Some parents may ground their children, others will assign chores and still others will take away their possessions.
When this teenager slammed his bedroom door on his father’s face one too many times, his father got busy in the best way he knew how.

You notice that something is missing, look at where the hinges are because there is no door! This picture was posted on Facebook and a lot of people had an opinion on how their parents dealt with tantrums. The teen in this picture, however, didn’t lose the whole door. The father was too creative for that.
Dad went out and got his saw from the toolbox.
He then began planning his masterpiece.
With that saw, a Dutch door was created for this teenager who has lost his right for absolute privacy. He might think twice before acting up at mum or dad again!
Being a loving sibling, his brother posted the picture to Reddit with the title, “When your brother gets his door cut in half as punishment for slamming his door.”
The picture went viral.
