The Nicest Strangers of All Time Come to Meet a Newborn after Texting Mishap

What is your first reaction when you get that odd phone call and it turns out to be a wrong number? Some people tend to respond with outright anger but others are a little more understanding. When it comes to brothers Dennis and Deorick Williams, however, they have taken things to the next level.

It seems as if those two brothers received a great text with a rather unusual announcement. Mark and Lindsay Knox had given birth to a baby boy, Carson. The text itself was rather routine but there was a slight twist to it, the brothers had no idea who it was coming from.

At first, the two brothers simply wrote back “wrong number,” but the grandmother, who was anxious when she wrote the text ignored the reply. Rather than saying thank you and moving on, she sent a photo of the baby.

This is where most of us would simply ignore the text or perhaps even block the number but these brothers love babies. That is when they hopped in the car and drove to the hospital with gifts for both the baby and mother and they did so, even though they were complete strangers!

The grandmother who initiated the wrong text conversation had the following to say:

“I accidentally [texted] a message about Mark and Lindsey having a baby to a number I had in my phone for someone else which now belongs to Mr. Dennis Williams and he and his brother came by to visit us and brought the baby a gift! What a blessing these two guys were to our family. They were so sweet and kind to do this,”

So the next time you have someone respond angrily when you dial the wrong number, forward them this story.
