When most of us think about the possibility of traveling, we may not think about going very far. Perhaps we might travel to the other side of the state or we may even visit the other side of our country but in either case, it is something that can be done with relative ease. Traveling to another country, on the other hand, is increasingly difficult.
If somebody was able to visit a few countries, it would be impressive and if they traveled to 100 or more, it would be awesome. A 27-year-old American female, however, is on track to visit all 196 countries on the planet. This is an amazing accomplishment. She has already visited 180 one of those countries and with only 15 countries remaining and 40 days to go, she is going to break the Guinness Book of World Records.
Her journey is called expedition196. She is traveling as an ambassador for peace on behalf of the International Institute for Peace through Tourism. What she has done is absolutely amazing.
