Now You Can Go Bowling Under The Sea With Stingrays And Turtles

When was the last time you went bowling? If you are like most people, you enjoy doing it but it doesn’t always come up as an activity that you take part in. When you get out to the lanes, however, you start to wonder why you waited so long to get out there and bowl. If you are one of those people, this is an opportunity you will not want to miss. Not only does it give you the chance to bowl, it does so in a most unusual venue.

This is a great choice for getting the kids out of the house and allowing them to enjoy some fun in a wholesome way. The bowling alley is easy to get to if you happen to be in NYC but even if you aren’t in the area, it is well worth making a stop when you are traveling. The venue takes you on a trip under the surface of the water and you can bowl till your heart’s content in a way that you have never enjoyed before.

The 12-lane bowling alley, restaurant and bar is located in Bridgeport, CT. The name of the establishment is Uncle Buck’s Fish Bowl and Grill and you have to see it to believe it. The lighting and decorations make you feel as if you are under the water and they even have bowling balls that look like mermaids or an octopus.

Bowl Mon-Fri 11am-5pm ($25/hour per lane), Sun-Thu after 5pm ($30/hr per lane) and Fri 5pm-Sunday until 5pm ($35/hr per lane). No more than eight people to a lane. Shoe rentals $3.25. Billiards is also available at this location.

You can try some American fare or check out the island-theme bar if you want an adult beverage. You will be greeted with a 750 gallon saltwater aquarium.
