One of the exciting and challenging things about being a police officer is that you never know what you are going to have to deal with next. Everyone expects you to be able to deal with whatever problem or issue arises, and there are so many variables, I don’t imagine that you could ever be trained on how to deal with every incident.
This one certainly falls into the “How the heck do I deal with this?” category. Police Officer Kyle was called to deal with an incident in Norman Oklahoma where a donkey was wondering lose in the street. This causes significant dangers both to the donkey itself and to any traffic using the road, as the donkey is liable to bolt at any second.
Officer Kyle did a sterling job and managed to gain the confidence of the animal, but his next choice may not have been the best. To keep the animal safe he decided to put it into the back seat of his police car.
Whether the donkey was relieved or scared, I don’t know but in a show of appreciation the donkey decided to empty his bowels in the back of the police car, and by all accounts, there was quite a large amount. The good news is that the donkey was returned safe and well to his owners, the bad news is I don’t know who ended up cleaning the vehicle.
