It’s incredible what a 9 year-old, with an immense heart, did for an old horse that had just been purchased by a meat buyer and was literally was on death row.
This great kid’s name is Brandon Heyman of Ontario. His mom found out about the 17-year-old horse in the website “Need You Now Equine”. She said nobody was interested in the horse and her little boy asked what she was doing, and when she explained the situation to him, he said “Mom, my birthday is coming up. Please give them my money. I don’t want the horse to die”.
She was so touched that she raised the remaining $650 in order to purchase the horse as a birthday surprise for Brandon.
