In Jacksonville Florida, a 42-year-old woman named Kelly Black was struck by a tractor-trailer while walking her dog. The tractor-trailer drug the body of Ms. Black down the road, and authorities believe that he didn’t have a clue he had struck her.
Kelly’s dog, Paco, was not harmed in the accident, at least not physically. On an emotional level, however, it seems as if Paco was severely injured as you are about to see.
After the accident occurred, he refused to leave the scene. It was described as follows by a local reporter

Hours after the crash occurred, Paco was still on site, even after the body of his owner had been removed. It must have made him feel a sense of comfort, knowing that he was close to her in his mind.
The owners family finally arrived and Paco was overjoyed at seeing some familiar faces.

There is no doubt that both Paco and the rest of Kelly’s family will need to lean heavily on each other to overcome this family tragedy.
