Mum Spots Bin Liner ‘Walking’ Down The Road And When She Tears It Open She Finds A Live Dog
Malissa Sergent Lewis was on her way to the elementary school where she works and, being in a hurry, she took a shortcut through some back roads. She then made a rather startling discovery, one that would change her life forever.
The mother of three saw a bin liner in the middle of the street. From a far distance, she could tell the bag was moving and there was something alive inside. When she got closer, she saw that the bag was attempting to “walk” down the street.
When she got close, whatever was inside of the bag could tell that she was nearby and it started walking toward her. Melissa tore the bag apart, revealing what was inside.
When Malissa Sergent Lewis took the back roads on her way to the school where she worked. She wasn’t expecting to make such a discovery.
She spotted a rubbish bag in the middle of the road and saw that it was moving. She recorded the encounter on her mobile phone and decided she was going to let it out of the bag.
Whatever was in the bag came walking up to her as good as it could. She had no idea what it was but that didn’t stop her from rescuing the animal.
On the inside of the bag was an adorable, and very grateful puppy. When he saw Melissa’s face, he started wagging his tail as if he knew he was going to be okay.
Melissa posted the video on Facebook along with the following message: “If this is your puppy, let me know. If you are the scoundrel who put it in a garbage bag and tossed it on the side of the road…..you’re a sicko”
The puppy had a collar but no identification. That evening, she and her son took the puppy to the vet for shots of the exam. He was totally healthy.
Both the sheriffs department and animal control are looking for who may have done this. In the meantime, Melissa and her sons decided to keep the puppy. She says that her sons already love him.
“He is playful,” Malissa told LittleThings. “We were just talking about how resilient he was. He romps around playing with his new toys. He’s good natured. Even the day that I brought him into the school where I work the day I found him, he was precious. The guidance counselor, Mrs. Kelly is a big animal lover, she took the pup to visit second grade and the kids loved him.”
