Most mothers would agree that there is not a better thing that they could possibly be doing on the face of the earth. It is a fulfilling task, and a project that lasts from before the child is born until the end of time. It is also true that mothers are unique, and they may differ from each other in their parenting style and abilities.
Even though mothers may differ from each other in a variety of ways, there are also going to be some similarities from one person to the next. That is especially the case when it comes to the thoughts that may be running through your head on a daily basis. Regardless of whether it is the constant worry over our children and what they’re doing now or if we are worrying about their future, it is all part of being a mother.
Here are a few things that you have in common with other mums.
When you feel like you are losing your mind
“I live in a madhouse run by a tiny army that I made myself.”
Every mother has worried they weren’t doing things right
“Behind every awesome kid is a mother that worried herself like crazy wondering if she was doing it all wrong.”
For the days when you feel like you are failing as a mother, keep this in mind.
“Even on the days you feel like you are failing, look around, I promise your kids still think you are the best mum in the whole universe.”
No one will ever replace the love of a mother
“And I promise you this: No matter who enters your life, I will love you more than any of them.”
