Isaiah Austin stands at 7’1”, and was supposed to be included in the 2014 NBA Draft. His long-time dream will never come true, but the NBA still recognizes him.
Austin graduated from Baylor University and was expected to be one of the No.1 picks. But just days before his much awaited date, the 20-year old basketball player was diagnosed with the rare genetic disorder Marfan syndrome.
Isaiah Austin will never be able to play in the NBA. Nevertheless, NBA still called his name on stage.
The crowd gave him an emotional standing ovation.
