Russell Crowe Mourns The Death Of His Puppy, Who Passed Away In His Arms

When most of us think about actors, such as Russell Crowe, we think about the parts that they played in various movies. He has certainly played the tough guy many times but in reality, he’s just a person like you and me.

In fact, he experienced something that let us all know that he is a real human. The 50-year-old man shared the news on twitter, giving tribute to his beloved dog.

The dog, a Papillion, was only 16 months old. As he said it, the dog won his heart but unfortunately, the dog was hit by a truck on the second anniversary of his father’s death.

He said: “We tried to get him to the vet, but he died in my arms while I was telling him how much we loved him.”

According to the Daily Mail, he appeared on an Australian radio show to speak about the heartache he was experiencing as well. When they offered him his condolences, they also asked if he was okay at the time.

It was evident that he still had a lot of emotion attached to the loss of Louis. He even had tears in his eyes.

He went on to say that they were a little devastated. He continued: “He was such a beautiful little pup you know and kind of wrapped us around him and shaped our lives around him.

“So it’s gonna take a little time to get past.”

Many people came to comment on his post and to let him know that they understood exactly how he felt.
